Urban music festival wows crowds in Waltham Forest

THOUSANDS of residents turned out last Thursday to enjoy a night of music.
The Urban Classic concert saw urban artists Ms Dynamite, Fazer, Skepta and Devlin perform with the 85-piece BBC Symphony Orchestra - conducted by Jules Buckley - for new compositions and fresh twists on familiar material.
This included a rendition of Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower, which featured a surprise appearance from pop heavyweight Ed Sheeran.
Council leader Chris Robbins said: “The event was absolutely stunning and local people of every conceivable age and background were in attendance singing, dancing and smiling from ear to ear.
Urban Classic was one of the council’s Big 6 events, which aim to celebrate the Olympic year and offer a ‘thank you’ to residents.
